  • Inspect that all steering hoses and connections are not cracked, worn or leaking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inspect that there are no missing, bolts or cotter keys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inspect that visible connecting links, arms and rods from the steering box to the wheels are not damaged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inspect that all joints and sockets are not worn or loose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

None of the hardware, including the nuts and bolts or cotter keys can be missing. I look for signs of damage on all of the visible connecting links, arms and rods from the steering box to the wheels.
